General Waste
In our Material Recycling Facility we handle the greatest volume of our
waste. All waste undergoes a full inspection, a pre-sort and is
then stockpiled. After stockpiling the material is then fed into our waste
processing system by a re-handling grab. Once the material is loaded into the
system it is processed by screens, magnets, air separation and manual separation.
Our team who handle processing have a
tough job to meet our recycling targets and they strive to do so. Furthermore,
another crucial target they undertake is to
reduce our environmental impact. These jobs include waste inspection, litter
picking, cleaning, water sampling and waste quarantining.
